PRESS RELEASE March 2024 DENVER, CO—Lance Chayet, founder and managing broker of Hanover Corporation DBA Hanover Commercial, Hanover Realty, and Hanover Builder Marketing in Golden, CO, was recently honored with two prestigious Denver Metro Association of Realtors (DMAR) Awards. Chayet, a fourth-generation Coloradan, earned top honors for both the number of homes sold and his role as a broker for sellers and buyers.
The DMAR’s 45th Annual Excellence Awards acknowledge the superior efforts of Realtors throughout the region during 2023. Both individuals and teams are honored by their peers. Chayet, who joined Hanover Realty in 1987, received the 2022 and 2023 DMAR Awards for #1 in Project Sides and #1 in Project Production. The awards are presented on an annual basis. “2024 was a challenging year for everyone,” explains Chayet, whose vast residential and commercial real estate credentials include MRE, CSP, CRS, ABR, CLHMS, CVS, SFR, CEC, BPOR, SRES, CIPS, CSHP ++.
“Homebuyers and sellers needed more assistance as they tried to navigate a confusing lifestyle change. We’ve always believed that buying or selling a home is a personal experience requiring personal assistance and guidance. It’s rewarding to help them through this experience.” The Project Production Award reflects a combination of both the number of transactions completed and the total dollar volume. “Sides” refers to the Realtor’s role in the transaction: the listing side for the seller and the selling side for the buyer. Chayet’s achievement in Project Sides demonstrates that he sold many homes as the only broker involved—a situation that reflects trust, experience, knowledge, and a reputation for exceptional service. His highest number of closed sides in one year was a staggering 242. Three years ago, Chayet placed second and third, respectively, in the Closed Sides and Project Production categories. In 2019, he earned inclusion in the Diamond Individual category, having completed more than 100 sides and$40 million in dollar volume sales. Chayet also took the first place honors for Closed Sides Sold in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Since starting his real estate career, Chayet has closed 2,100 personal sales, representing more than $350 million. Chayet graduated from the University of Denver’s Daniel College of Business with a degree in Finance and Marketing. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. A native of Denver, his longtime community connections include Graland Country Day School and Historic Paramount Foundation, for which he served on the Board of Directors.
